I couldn’t disagree more. I’ve also been to Italy, specifically to Napoli, and just the dough alone is phenomenal, something between pancake and bread. Then the fresh tomatoes and mozzarella on top with the fresh basil leaves for the something extra - perfect balance, heaven in my mouth!

I’ve also been to the US (west coast, Portland) and Jebus, that was terrible. First they don’t give you a pizza but a slice of pizza, then it’s reheated because they make a lot of it and can’t sell it fresh. The toppings is dry ham and tasteless cheese, a ton of cheese, but just flavorless cheese. I tried in a couple of places there with practically the same result. Thanks, but no thanks.

The Swedish pizza is probably what I would say is what you’re talking about, tons of toppings and decent dough.

I disagree. I like cooking and since I’m working from home I can make something nice and fast at home for lunch. But I probably would have agreed back then when I worked at the office.

It’s probably 15 years ago I used XMPP the last time. Back then there were many compatibility problems between the apps and especially on the mobile phone with push notifications, etc. There were problems sending media and VOIP calls were non existent outside of the Google clients.

My guess is that some of those things improved but I have not heard anyone in my circles using it, especially since Matrix became a bit more popular, most of the Open Source projects on IRC also moved to Matrix.

I think Matrix is the way to go because you can host your own server and be completely self hosting without a 3rd party involved.

But there are still if, while, function definitions, etc. in scripting languages. It doesn’t seem to me that different than even programming in assembler. In Assembler you also call subroutines, etc. and in every other language you also call functions from libraries.

The only community I cared about on refit was r/Korea because I was a new migrant here. I never did dual boot. The first time moving from windows 2000 to Linux, my hard drive was only 2 GB and I couldn’t fit both of the OS:es on it, so I nuked the windows one.
