Capitalism is a system of economics. It can exist with or without a government also existing.

How dare you! Circles!? They must be stars!!
There were still people that lived in the streets in the USSR. Also, the housing the USSR provided wasn’t really that… great… I watch a Russian YouTuber (NFKRZ) who has talked about Soviet architecture in not just Russia, but other former USSR countries and shows that yes it’s good they were built, they weren’t very well built.
The USSR had many problems, and bureaucracy was a big problem. I never understood why tankies love the USSR so much when the USSR didn’t truly get rid of class. Those in the government lived like kings compared to the common man, who yes lived better than they had before but still not that well due to the bloated and mismanagement of the government.
Idk, the fact that they even had a centralized government like that seems like… the opposite of communism to me.
Stronger? Sure. Wiser? Definitely. Happier? Hell to the no lol
Avoid, no.
Cut down, yes. We overeat carbohydrates, especially empty carbohydrates. It’s a cheap source of energy sure, but if we are inputting more than we are outputting, the excess is stored as fat, which can lead to inflammation and other health issues.
I did keto for a couple years and yes, cutting out most carbs that weren’t nutrient dense did wonders. Only reason I’ve been moving off of it is because it’s honestly difficult to eat that way in a world of excess carbohydrates. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, has added sugars or fillers added in that increase the carb count for cheap. I did it for like 5 years, but it cost a lot of money and time. Money because it’s all about eating whole, nutritious, and organic. Time because It takes time to cook and do meal prep, and sometimes I don’t have that time or energy mentally.
True, but it can be mitigated by simply calling your bank, telling them the transaction isn’t fraudulent, and then it’ll allow every transaction to that vendor going forward.
You’re a bad liar.
Bruh I had neglectful parents and never once did I do stupid shit like this. Mostly because I knew if I did I’d get an ass whooping and it’d make my life 10x worse.
A cry for help? Maybe. But doing this is just making it worse, not better.
Burn the place down and when the cops ask say it was infested with spiders.
Hey man, I notice and appreciate you.
If gen z is cringe, it’s because they were taught the art of cringe from their parents lol.
Honestly I’m pretty sure the cringe is a coping mechanism, and I don’t blame them.
I’m apparently more of a leftist than you if you’re willing to throw the working class under the bus purely because the wins we are getting are smaller than you’d like… hell, they’re smaller than I’d like too. But it’s something, which is better than nothing or worse, outright reversals.
All your online posturing is doing absolutely nothing for the working class. Stop throwing around leftist ideals as if you actually give a damn. I wish we were in a better spot, but we aren’t. We are here, this is the hand we’ve been dealt, we have to make the most of it. The alternative is fascism winning, and you and I being lined up and shot like dogs.
And bringing up the Russian invasion of Ukraine? Oh boy, let me guess. You’d rather we stop supporting Ukraine and if it just happens to fall to Russia, so be it? Please…
Why not both…
Yes and I’m still pissed at Biden about that. That doesn’t mean he hasn’t done good.
Because 1 party does everything their donors say, the other does most of the stuff their donors say but still shows it’s able to be pushed by their voters to do good.
Do you really think that the donor class wanted the recent NLRB rule change that helps unions against union busting? No, but it happened because unlike the Republican party, the Democratic party can be swayed to fight for the working class. Is it perfect? No, but it’s something.
Or maybe I’m actually trying to help the working class by taking any win we can get whereas you’d rather watch the world burn than see the working class get any kind of win because it’s not big enough for you.
Unfortunately harm reduction is all we can do rn, unless you are ready to start a working class revolution, which would require the majority of the working class to be on board with us. And idk about you, but I don’t think the American working class is there just yet.
That makes no sense. How is our economic system highly controlled in the US? Corporations run rampant, with scant regulation compared to some places like Europe.
A government’s size being big doesn’t instantly equal less capitalism if that government doesn’t do as much as it could to reel in corporate interests.
Case in point, our government here in the US is big but is controlled by corporate interests to such a degree that despite knowing about human made climate change since the late 60s, basically nothing has actually been done about it. Or how whenever there is any push for even a public option to live alongside private insurance, insurance companies go into overdrive running ads and paying politicians to push back against it so it never gets brought up after an election season.
