Trying to de-google and looking for an alternative to Gmail.

Don’t mind if it’s a paid service if it’s robust.

I am also on iOS and in the past 6 weeks that I have had it there haven’t been any crashes, freezing or problems opening a message. Maybe it has been fixed recently or is your phone older?

You actually can change what swiping does left or right to your preferences. It has to be done through the app settings. Swipe all the way down the sidebar, settings then click swipe actions.

The rest are good points. I haven’t had enough time with it to need detailed searches yet or get much spam so that’s good to keep in mind.

The one thing that bothers me the most is that there is no ability to forward emails automatically. I am not sure if they plan to add that or if it is locked down for security.

I did get a custom email address so I can switch easily to another provider if I want later. I recommend that so you never feel locked in to any email service. Been happy so far and purchased for two years so will reevaluate then.
