I’ve seen people talking about it and experienced it myself with a server, but why does Linux run so well on ARM (especially compared to Windows)?

Nothing you wrote is correct.
Please do continue. Corrections are appreciated.
I know that “everybody,” “nobody” and “any” parts were probably too harsh. In reality, the store wasn’t entirely void of activity.
You are basically correct imo.
Microsoft has been courting ARM for decades (the 90s had WindowsCE tho that might have been more MIPS than ARM, see Vadem Clio for a product ahead of its time).
However like many relationships “the time wasn’t right” or “too busy for more than fun” so the courtship has yet to click beyond some neat devices that fizzled.
Wrong. It was an ARM compiled stripped down version of windows with not even the most rudimentary bug fixing done to ensure stability. They basically hit compile till they got something that completed successfully and shipped it.
You can blame them for released a heaping pile of festering dogshit that was even worse than their desktop software.
LOL. This is just so tone-def. x86_64 is fucking ancient and ARM is fucking MASSIVE right now and RISC V is gaining more and more attention. AMR server farms are becoming a thing FFS. MS just swung and wiffed so hard the umpire died from embarrassment before he could call it a strike.
See previous point about MS released nothing bug riddled festering dogshit software, as tradition. Of course nothing worked – the shit they released didn’t even work.
