I miss r/Christian, there are very few of us on Lemmy, the communities seem basically empty here.
It seems like the number of people who want to have that community, and the number of people who want to downvote any post that supports Christianity, are roughly equal here.
I think nothing can go wrong with more religious subs the more subs and the more community’s the merrier I wonder what douchebags are downvoting you though
Yeah I don’t get it. If you go on c/Christianity, half the posts have more downvotes than upvotes, and it causes a bunch of people to be inactive. They have over 100 members but nobody posting.
I’m reading Lord of the flies by William Golding currently grammar isn’t really my strongsuit
Edit: also the tolerance index is a sack of shite in my opinion if people like daryl davis can talk to and befriend the intolerant change there beliefs and make them more tolerant of other people then so can you. Your not obligated to if you don’t want to speak to or associate with that person that’s absolutely fine same applies to that person if they don’t want to associate or do business with you
People here are not particularly too fond of Anglosphere due to their fetish for war and genocide. That includes Western citizens. Christianity may have born in Syria, but Anglos used it as a tool to colonise and assimilate countries and cultures.

Because most people are atheist here. Seems to be side effect of going deeper into the technology hole.
I thought they meant the name and not the religion 😭💀 (yes I’m stupid how did you know)
Not believing in religion on a site like this is kind of a case of it comes with the territory
Same for r/Islam. The couple I found here are abandoned.
Look, you’re being downvoted already, and so will I :)
why don’t you make the next Islam based sub I bet you could do an amazing job at it m8
No, I still need to learn and hope there are people more educated than in me in the matter making the community here alive.
Alright well good luck mate hope you find those people and grow a small community
I’m not religious myself but I well and truly hope all the best to ya
Thank you for the kind words and I hope you can soon become a happy grapefruit.
Lol

It’s a shame really
funnily enough the same people would probably rant on about and acceptance of others these people really don’t practise what there preach
The only thing we don’t tolerate is intolerance. There’s no problem there.
Oh. And bad spelling. Read some other books.

Fuck off with this “freedom of association” far right bullshit. It should completely be ignored and it’s promoters should be laughed at
When you know, you’ll know.
I just downvote bad spellers.
