I think /mnt is where you manually mount a hard drive or other device if you’re just doing it temporarily, and /media has sub folders for stuff like cdrom drives or thumb drives?
Holy crap, the USA is 90th?? I thought we made a shit ton of plastic pollution, carelessly! How the fuck are other nations making so much more?
I’ve been on “New, 6 hours” since the beginning and even that seems stagnant. At times, there’s lots of cross posting.
That or Ansible, if you will have a machine to deploy from
Zoneminder was cool when it was the only game in town, but didn’t it save “videos” as a folder of JPEGs of frame grabs?
Never thought I’d get to use “bisectional” outside of JD Vance jokes
It’s weird

Don’t forget us Bluefin/Aurora people either
Yeah, always check all of this stuff. Server hardware gets a lot more updates than like gamer board BIOS, companies invest high millions, even low billions in this stuff and they expect problems to be address promptly for that kind of cash.
Check for any peripherals or cards, too. RAID, backplanes, networking cards; drivers, firmware, anything.
It’s a cheeky play on “WINdows Emulator” as well as “WINE’s Is Not an Emulator”, but I think for both legal (trademark) and logistical (it really isn’t an emulator) reasons, you’ll never officially see that bit sanctioned
This is probably also one of the reasons they land both planes at once; it probably simplifies ground operations if everyone’s using taxiways at the same time rather than having to stop ground traffic to wait down range for a landing…
I remember seeing this happening while taking off from Charlotte. ATC probably does this on purpose to make estimating turns easier/more predictable rather than trying to time staggered takeoffs and approaches amongst each other. That place must have a fuckton of holding and departing traffic at all hours…
“Opting you in without asking” is the literal definition of spam.
This is god-tier technique, kudos
