That’s not what privilege means. It’s not that men are at fault, although patriarchy as a whole plays a role in it. It’s that men obliviously benefit from something other people, purely because of social reasons tied to gender, have problems with.
That’s what privilege is. White privilege, for instance, isn’t saying that every white person is responsible for systematic racism, it means they don’t have to experience systematic racism, which means they get to pretend it’s not a problem. Because it isn’t, for them.
OP has been grossly misunderstood by the reply and nearly everyone here.
If we were talking about the normal version where one perspective does see 4 sides and the other 3, then I’d agree. But right wingers often completely ignore science and facts for what they feel is right - despite loudly claiming the opposite. They’re simply wrong about any number of things, from economics to gender studies to climate change, but they insist on their positions because of how they feel on a fundamental level - that all the common-sense folks around them think this way, their preacher thinks this way, and they don’t trust anyone they haven’t personally encountered long enough to understand. Time and time again, science has disproven explicitly conservative viewpoints, from race biology to Social Darwinism to climate change and so on. But they double down because to change their perspectives risks alienating their peers, or even worse, possibly damning them to Hell.
That’s why I said what I did. Liberals are a pain in the ass and generally incapable of accomplishing much of value, but at least they typically welcome new data that may contradict a previously-held position.
What it feels like having a conversation with conservatives
I went digging, I know I have one somewhere of a panel schedule that was downright incomprehensible. If it turns up I’ll follow up :)
I had a little Mazda B2200 truck for a while. The gauges didn’t work so I had no idea how much gas I had, how hot it was, or how fast I was going. And it leaked everything, gas included. Thing only actually got me to where I was going half the time.
Gave it to a friend and he fixed it up
As an electrician in the South, I’ve seen spelling you people wouldn’t believe.

This isn’t science this is schizoposting
#10 with an aging laptop that unfortunately pretty much needs to be Windows to make any sense - like, I basically just use Excel. And Word. That’s it. And afaik nothing really does Excel like Excel, which seems silly to use with Wine…
But I may build a home server type setup soonish using Linux because it sounds fun
Hands down best use of template yet
So I’m an introverted millennial who started working for himself a couple months back. It is SO HARD to answer calls from unknown numbers with no warning. I’m just chilling and BOOM stranger on the phone.
I’m adjusting, but I live in terror of the day the spam calls start back up and I can no longer just ignore them.
Nothing comes to mind, but I don’t follow them closely. I just remember they were involved in that major leak that took down a ton of fascists by doxxing them.
Which, IMO, was fucking dope. Some high-level infiltration led to that information.
That’s fair. Leave that to the dedicated antifa espionage types, they have funds for this kind of stuff. I’m sure they see it as worthwhile if they can disrupt the group entirely for the price of $20 or whatever.
First, spoof your IP address.
Then, start with Facebook. Create a realistic looking account, preferably with bots for friends, and start sharing and commenting on hateful groups’ posts. They’ll come out of the woodwork and if you play your cards right you get invited to Discord servers and shit like that where the really heinous stuff happens.
Then, after taking months of screenshots and compiling all the data you can, you turn it over to Unicorn Riot or a similar group and watch the fireworks.
Their struggles with alcoholism led to me becoming an alcoholic, which nearly killed me multiple times, and did end up killing my mom before she was 60.
Fortunately I got sober a year before she passed. I’d have almost certainly drank myself to death had I not.
They actually have really great flavor underneath the heat. I did a beer infusion years ago with jalapeño and IPA that wasn’t spicy at all but had a delicious peppery taste.
Horror
I suspected but you never know
My bad
Any reason for the unnecessary outlining and underlining instead of just cropping the picture decently? Ffs
