I’m on iOS, but I gave it a few minutes of swiping to help out.

Moon Reader+ is probably the only thing I still miss from Android.
It requires no restraint if you’re not a monster.
It could be worse. You could fall in love with someone, get married and, after years of happiness together, that person discovers Crocs and loves them to death.
My poor wife. She did say for better or worse, however.
Yeah, I got tired of being the product. It used to be Google phones were significantly cheaper, that’s just not nearly as much a thing anymore.
Then you have to take the additional steps of finding privacy focused roms etc… It just wasn’t worth the savings to me. There’s things about Android I miss, but the fact that my phone is good for years and years is such a game changer.
I have been gradually transitioning over to proton for additional privacy and I’ve basically completely divorced myself from Google at this point.
The grinder for pepper corns. It gives you more flavor than ground pepper.
It’s a hot take! Wouldn’t be good if it weren’t inflammatory.
Pepper Mills are overrated.
Serious answer:
I can’t speak for anyone else, but I believe in a religion because I’ve found it to be personally beneficial.
I was a pastor for many years and saw much of the best and worst religion had to offer. I haven’t stepped foot inside a church since COVID broke out and don’t know that I ever will again.
My personal beliefs are still a significant part of my life, but I understand why someone would ask the question that spawned this discussion.
I wouldn’t feel bad using a pejorative for fascists. Neither do I feel bad using a pejorative for other authoritarians. Their disrespect for human dignity, liberty, and worth disqualifies them for protection against such a minor indignity.
Tankies is fine for anyone on the side of the tanks at Tiananmen Square.
I mean, Ron isn’t exactly brilliant either. I guess that just leaves the authorial self-insert?
Can anyone explain anything in this meme? I don’t know the anime, I don’t know the symbols, all I recognize is the steam logo.
I just got it. Beat my first red deck run, but it has yet to really sink its hooks into me. I’d be curious to hear what makes it work for you.
So the argument is the forger gave them bad documents that led to their capture and execution.
Part of their reasoning is when captured, his life was spared.
The counter argument is that mistakes were made in the forging, it was bound to happen. The executions weren’t coordinated but happened sporadically throughout the region whenever they were captured. Whether or not someone was spared had less to do with orders from above and just dumb luck.
Did I get that right? Seems tenuous to be blackening someone’s name.
That and I’ll be dead by then, so there’s that.
By then, I’ll have done my part!
I’ve been learning to employ self-compassion for these scenarios. Just pretend my life belongs to a friend who’s sharing it with me. How would I respond?
I’m so much more generous and compassionate to others, so learning to give that same compassion and dignity to myself has been healing.
That’s basically two apprenticeships!
Ever since I used a friend’s headset I’ve wanted one, but refused to get one for this reason.
Spicy take around these parts.
