Ugh I read this article a few days ago but it doesn’t tell you the names of the two pictured. Is her name Dana or not!? Is he Noam??

Doesn’t that mess with your inventory numbers?
Or just keep adding lamps. My bathrooms have lamps now instead of overhead lights. My Livingroom has 4 lamps. Someone please send help.
I’ve never died in real life, but I’ve died in Minecraft many times, so it’s gonna have to be more scared.
Some dogs get older and I assume confused and just snap. My grandmother’s dog, sweetest girl, golden retriever, service dog, previously good with other animals and cats. My Grandmom brought home a kitten and the dog mauled it. Do not trust dogs. Just like people they can do something totally out of character.
My immediate family was all on board, so no big worries. It was the Grand parent level that thought I was being unreasonable with the privacy stuff. None of them ever be brought it up directly to me, just to my husband and my parents, so I could never really address it.
Idk. I think a big point of the app is to discuss growing up female. Nothing against trans women, and I Believe trans women are women, but as a cis woman, I think I’d have more in common talking about my past with a trans male than with a trans female. We’d have similar stories of being treated a certain way growing up.
I think if we socialized men to not deny their biology and actually be around babies the numbers would be a lot closer to 60 or 70 percent of both genders love being around a little squish baby. Plenty of people don’t like it in both genders, but in my experience most men like a lot of domestic stuff if they’re not specifically trained not to.
My relatives hated this strategy, and I wasn’t the only one who suffered from it. They guilted me for it, but also guilted my parents and siblings. As if they are entitled to the details of my daughter.
People could handle (though they were vocally unhappy about it) is keeping the baby off Facebook. They could not handle me not sending pics on (Facebook) messenger, and they couldn’t handle me not telling me the birth weight.
Multiple boomers got very upset that I wanted to keep that information private.
Stress can exacerbate almost every medical condition. The boat doesn’t perform normally when it’s under stress. It can affect pregnancy like crazy which affects every single person in the world. Every single person comes from a pregnancy. Stress can affect sleep which also negatively affects like every condition.
This is very dumb, but when I was in middle school, my sister explained blow jobs to me. She said you bob your head up and down on the penis, and that you could practice on a hotdog. I did not understand. I thought she meant like nodding bob your head. Like it would be in your mouth, and you would nod and it would hit your tongue, then the roof of your mouth, then your tongue etc. I practiced on a hotdog.
In high school, I learned what she actually meant, like bob your head so it goes in and out. I was a sheltered kid.
She’s saying not having to be somewhere everyday that she’s proud of and where she helps children grow which brings her great meaning and purpose has been hard on her. Use your thinking cap.
I’m saying you don’t need to make marks on a bone to track the lunar cycle… you just look up.
Right, but hotels don’t expect you to take out the trash, wash the towels/bedding, or wash the water cups/ice bucket. Even if you don’t make a mess you still often have to do those things on top of the cleaning fee you’re paying.
I hear you but it’s far more likely for a woman to track her own period than for a nearby man to track it. You’re the reason this professor felt the need to give this example. Because men assume all progress and intellectual pursuits were obviously sought by men. You guys think it’s the automatic default, and even the suggestion that a woman might have accomplished something is met with, “hey! It could have been a man!”
Other than tides, why do you need to know when the next full moon is? And can’t you just look at the moon and see how close it is waning to the full moon?
Not saying the calendar is definitely a woman’s, but wanting to know when you’re going to start leaking blood onto everything near you seems like a good reason to track a period. Plenty of women are regular like clockwork, I was at 26 days almost exactly for years.

Yes. My parents run a storage place. Can confirm a LOT of the units are full of junk. The price of storage very quickly exceeds the value of the stuff in the units and then the people just keep paying for them for years, never actually accessing them a lot of times.
Plenty are businesses storing records, or a lawn company storing equipment, plenty between houses, or homeless people renting a small unit to keep their stuff safe. Some are like an extra garage to store vehicles.
Lots are just junk, maybe with one or two things of legitimate value, and then 10 feet of junk. Some piled to the ceiling. One lady had 7 units piled to the ceiling, stuff just shoved in there. She was paying for this storage for like a decade. In the end it’s like she paid off a small house just in storage fees. My mom felt so bad, and constantly tried to convince the lady to just let the stuff go. She just needed an actual therapist :(
The graphic novel for The Walking Dead
SPOILER
When Glenn was murdered with the baseball bat - the picture and him saying Ma- Mag- Ma It was just too intense for me. I just closed the book and walked away for a long time.
When my husband saw that part in the show he just stopped watching. Also too intense for him
That’s not necessarily a false sense of privacy if it works. There’s an inconvenient barrier to searching vote history and if you do it in the current system you’d be recognized as petty at least. Easing access is not going to make Lemmy better.
