The Russian response is purely for their internal consumption.
That’s just it. You have to understand the output; otherwise you get very authoritative looking garbage.
I wrote some rudimentary Python code to do a job by brute force. On a whim, I asked ChatGPT to optimize the code. It did a pretty good job, but I still had to tweak it for my purpose.
I found ChatGPT to be indispensable in dealing with a nonsense homework assignment. I had to write a paper on a subject I knew about, but had to write it from a specific viewpoint and in far less time than would normally be allowed. I wrote up an outline, checked my sources, etc. Told ChatGPT to flesh it out. Read through the output, made some adjustments, and reprocessed. When I was happy with the result, I had it write a closing paragraph. Once again, read through the output, made adjustments, and reprocessed. Same with the opening paragraph.
Lastly, to remove all traces of AI, ran it all through QuillBot and had the input made more academic in some places, more casual in others.
Lesson: know your subject before attempting this. ChatGPT can be a time saver, but only if you already understand the output. Think of it as you would an advanced spelling and grammar checker. It’s just another tool/ After all, if your boss told you to write something, and you could do it in a quarter of the expected time and still produce acceptable output, would they be upset?

Attempting to disrupt trade between our two democratic states
Since when was Israel democratic? Bibi and Likud have certainly made every effort to turn it into a theocratic totalitarian state.
I’ve got Mullvad on my Android and a Linux virtual machine for when I need a textbook that’s overpriced. That would be all of them.

Did they get Mexico to pay for it?
So Earth had been slowing down until 2016. There have been no leap seconds added since then. Due to the ice melting at the polar caps the weight is off at top and bottom and that land has been rising, making Earth more spherical. This has led to the Earths speeding up in its rotation. They’re saying we might have to add an inverse leap second, or rather just subtract one.
I’d read a few years ago, there’s a particular industry that has become very dependent upon the atomic clocks that are attached to the GPS system. That industry is finance. Now, we’re not talking about your check clearing for your car payment, but rather immense transfers of money. The article discussed how one or two seconds of interest on your mortgage payment is nothing, but once you start getting into corporate buyout amounts, you’re talking about real money. I’m sure the money people will find a way around this issue and account for any differences in calculations. What are you going to do if one country decides, out of whatever kind of stupidity, to not add a leap second or remove one?
You could run Kodi, Emby, or Plex and get local access through DLNA access.
I have a QNAP RAID set up that Emby catalogs and handles access for. An Emby app on my LG TV, and a Roku on other TVs. Some RAID systems will just plug into your network and allow you to install apps on them directly.
Another option is to use MediaMonkey to catalog and provide access. They even have an Android app.
Lastly, regular external HDD are meant for occasional access, not continuous work. Most have a duty cycle of about 25%, meaning they should only be run about that amount of time before dying. This is why I went with NAS HDDs. If you have the money, go with an expandable RAID. Once you start using that capacity, you’ll find you want more.
“How to Make Friends and Influence People”
The document’s authors deem this alternative to be the most desirable for Israel’s security.
Let me fix that for you.
The document’s authors deem this alternative to be the most desirable for creating a whole hell of a lot more problems for Israel.
Eventually, those chickens will return home to roost.

Us DOD has drawn up plans for what to do in the next probable wars based upon various causes. One of those causes is lack of water.
The Gulf Stream, which currently keeps Europe warmer than it should be, could be disrupted by sudden dumping of cold fresh water from Greenland. As I understand it, the fresh water is lighter than salt water and will essentially disrupt the Gulf Stream. Previously, It was believed that if the Gulf Stream were disrupted, Europe would plunge back into the temperatures that you see at the same latitudes in North America. The equivalent latitude for Belgium would be Winnipeg, which has exceptionally cold winters.
Now, you would think perhaps this would then balance out. The problem is that the Gulf Stream dissipates heat from the equator into the northern latitudes. Heat is what drives hurricanes. With nothing dissipating heat from the equator, you have an enormous, essentially battery, to power more frequent and larger hurricanes. Now before you start saying goodbye to Florida, consider that hurricanes ride along on the Gulf Stream. With it disrupted, where are those hurricanes going to go?
This is why weather modeling is so difficult. There are way too many variables to have to account for. Go ahead, try to make a prediction for more than two-three weeks.
I don’t know why someone would call them bad. Especially if you’re trying to install them on non-mainstream hardware. There’s just more support for them.
My own journey to Linux started with FreeBSD. Want to talk about hard to find drivers? Now I have two laptops running Ubuntu and Mint, with Ubuntu running as a VM on Win10.
