But why the block? Why not disagree and move on with your life?

I won’t block different perspectives. If I disagree I disagree and move on, but why block somebody? I think it is important to have your believes challenged.
Ah, I see. I have been wearing a simple black T-shirt, a black pants that is either a jeans or a cargo pants and depending on the weather a sweater and a jacket for about 25 years now. Hence I am aware how long single clothes may last and was a bit confused, but that makes ydncd now.
Your seven shirts and seven pants only last for 2 months?
Shhh. Let Linus Finnish.
Bulldozed over them. Alive and dead. Couldn’t take the gore no longer.
I have empathy for him, honesty. He belived the propaganda about defending the country an all that. Then was ordered to to horrible things. He experienced the difference between a lie told and a lie lived and just couldn’t deal with it.
He not the bad guy here.
Dude killed himself (the one the article is about).
I disagree. When I make Ai images I create like 1000 versions of a promt and chose the one that comes closest to what I want it to convey and work from there.
The again, I do this offline and have no limits to work with, so there is that.
I get the sentiment and it’s cool you put some time into this. That said I think it looks go much like him leading the protesters. The composition isn’t ideal for the message, you know.
Not want to be an asshole, it’s just what seemed off to me, becuae when I saw this in my feed it looked like a very much pro trump image on first glance.
“Minorities” are actually dangerously close to becoming the majority in most White/first world nations.
That kind of lies.
At the time of the 2021/22 Census, 16% of people in the UK had been born abroad – a total of around 10.7 million migrants. Although the foreign-born population has increased further between 2021 and 2024, no reliable data are available for later years.

This here is also a good video to find out why one would call her that.
No, you can see him behind her in the background in the original. I think this is made without AI, AFAIK this was a thing way before AI.
The Fedverse works in mysterious ways 🤷
Beeing honest about mistakes you make is way better than trying to deflect or lie about them. This is true in professional and in social settings.
Own up to your mistakes, try to correct them and be open about you fucking up. Most people will respect that more than you trying to be Mr or Ms Perfect.
Bullshit. You wouldn’t call it ethical to kill a 5 year old you see in the street just because it is done quick and painless.
Murder doesn’t become ethical just because it’s not also torture.
In general, making people feel like shit for who they are has no positive function in any public space, and I’d prefer it if we simply left those behaviors in the past entirely.
I agree with you in general, but after understanding the idea behind it I think, in the context of said art project, it is a useful tool to get some people to think about discrimination.
As this thread shows, it also enraged people and makes them scream “feminist are sexist and want males to suffer”, but hey, you can’t reach everybody.
Well, if this is what you took out of what I wrote then I am sorry, but you came here with that opinion and are trying realy hard to have it justified by realy just anything.
Because, if you’d take the time to understand what I wrote, there’d be no rational conclusion leading to your point. None.
Why? Woman habe been restriced from artwork (and jobs, voting rights,…) for generations.
If the point is to give male persons the possibility to feal this exclusion, then it makes sense to exclude something from them that they actually would like to see.
So you feel like you are beeing treated sexist because of your gender.
Wonderful. Now take that feeling. Feel the rage it brings with it, the exclusion, the pure UNFAIRNESS of it.
And now think how often women experience this. Not on the context of “you may not enter” any more, but in hunders of other ways. You can’t be good at math, you’re a woman. Why wouldn’t you want to stay with the kid for a year or so, you’re a woman?!
This is, so I belive, why the artist says the feeling of exclusion is the experience for male visitors she is intending. It gives you the possibility to think about how it feels beeing female in a world that is still very much male dominated (tough in a slightly more subtle way than in 1965).
I agree, if you feel it is affecting your mental health you should by all means take care of yourself and avoid it. I can understand how this is sensible.
