Sadly, I don’t have a pixel.
Sadly, I don’t have a pixel.
This is me and my dad so much.
Last year he was complaining about how the owner of the company he works for is retiring and giving the company to his son who doesn’t know anything about the business.
We talked about how the workers could all own a portion of the company and run it themselves.
He agreed that’s how it should work.
But socialism is bad… 🤦♂️
Thanks! I don’t think this will work for me. Where I live, most of the payments are made directly through banking apps by scanning a qr-code.
Can someone give an example of an app that doesn’t work? I always hear about apps that do work, but is it mostly banking or some other category that doesn’t work typically?
Thanks! Your right. I’m thinking of Singapore. My bad.
Based on a quick google search vpns are often blocked in Saudi, but it says they are not illegal.
I think they block specific provider so hosting your own should solve the problem.
I think they are legal in Korea since Mullvad hosts vpns in Korea.
Double check on these things but it seems like you are good to go.
Does fdroid even work on android tv?
What can you do on your android tv that you can do on an Apple TV?
Sounds like songs from the game “The Messenger”.
Great game and great music.
Let me know if I don’t know enough about what you are talking about, but I think your saying to use qemu to o run windows.
This is about running x86 code on arm processors, like what Apple does with Rosetta.
I hate fandom so much. Their site is very annoying on mobile.
But you can but a Dell with Linux on it instead of windows.
I’m not sure how true this is, but I read somewhere that when Mac got above 5% market share, it suddenly got a lot more mainstream support.
I wonder if that means we’re are a year or two away from Linux as a mainstream option.
I’d love to have an arm based Linux laptop with software support for one of my critical work apps.
My biggest concern with graphene is that I don’t really trust that my apps will work on it.
I haven’t looked into it for years, but I do need to use apps like Microsoftone drive, WeChat, banks, etc.
Even if they work I’m concerned that they will see I’m on some modified OS and block my account.
Genuine question, is there some reason you can mix and match tools?
I think you meant minetest with a Minecraft mod.
That’s interesting. I wonder if we will see more duo plans as people are increasingly child free.
Depending on which virtual machine software you use, you might need to go onto the Linux even after you boot from it and run some programmer script to install drivers or something, but depends on which virtual machine software you use.
My work laptop is windows and I hardly use it for anything personal. I just unplug the usb-c dock from it and plug it into my steam deck and use it as my desktop. I’ve done everything with it you can do on a computer.
On LTT there was a race and the person who chose to install Linux had a huge head start as the install only took a few minutes. While Linus took forever to install windows.
I forget the outcome of the video, but I wish he would show more support for Linux on his channel.
