I’ve never seen a video THIS relatable.
So what? I’m not a fan of Fortnite as well, but let people enjoy what they want.

Jesus, UI design was terrible back then. I’m not talking about technical limitations, I don’t need fancy transparency effects or something like that, but I’m sure that you could come up with something much better using the old UI libraries as long as you follow modern design principles.
Maybe that’s why he became a dentist.
Because there is only one alternative (Xorg/X11), and it’s pretty outdated and not really maintained anymore.
For now it’s probably still fine, but in a couple of years everything will probably use Wayland.
That’s what I tried, it never showed up, even though the repo was enabled. Had to install it via terminal.
Why won’t they just use Calamares?
it doesn’t even host it’s own repos
Yes, and that’s a good thing, otherwise it would be like Manjaro.
EndeavourOS is perfect if you already know your way around a Linux system but don’t want to spend the time and effort to setup Arch.

This has been an issue since NVIDIA introduced alternating frames in the 545 driver. To fix this, explicit sync was recently merged into the Wayland protocol, now all it needs is the merge into Xwayland and the new NVIDIA driver that supports it, which is rumored to be released as a beta around May 15.
Until then, you either have to game on Xorg or use the 535 driver.
I think 535 is the only option for Wayland gaming right now, everything else is a flickery mess.
AFAIK we still need this merge request here for it to actually affect 99% of games, because they all run with Xwayland, right? https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/-/merge_requests/967
Just take a look at the video on the main page, it demonstrates it pretty well: https://hyprland.org/
Jailbreaks exist and allow stuff like wireshark to run on iOS.
Why use many words when few words do trick?
Nah, Vista wasn’t even nearly as bad as ME, it was just released with hardware requirements that were too high and OEM manufacturers that installed it anyway on their low-end hardware.
And of course too strict UAC, but that could be disabled.
Distrobox is probably what you’re looking for.
