Dell optiplex desktop or workstation would def be a gpod idea. Both are much quieter than servers - you can get the workstation if you want a xeon chip and ecc memory - otherwise the desktop will likely do what you need.
Oops!
Look into PICO PSU. Its a small powersupply that uses a power brick to downsize internals. It’s used by homelabbers sometimes.
If Tidal isn’t your cup of tea, check out Qobuz - I’ve had a better experience with it. It doesn’t pay artists as well as spotify, but I think it’s still more than Spotify (iirc)
Try out void, it’s pretty fire
Haven’t watched, assuming voip
Glad to help :)
rm the container, then run docker system prune -a
. This will remove all unused docker images, containers, networks, volumes, etc.
I’d suggest proxmox. Sinple web UI for management, but debian backend. Very powerful virtualization. Supports GPU passthrough, LVMs, ZFS, and a bunch of other stuff out of the box. If you get another machine, you can also put them into a cluster.
Right idea, but I’d suggest getting dell or lenovo mini pcs instead. Saves you a bit of cash and you can get a semi-recent (low tdp) i5 + 8gb ram + whatever ssd the seller will throw you. They run 80ish USD before tax iirc
Uses the signal back end and is cross compatible
This is the way.
repo’s readme mentions having support for docker…
He mentions the CPU (I watched this a few days ago, I forget the exact model) - it’s only sold in prebuilts, so of you look it up on ebay, you’ll find equivalent items
That’s a TODO, atm they’re names that reflect their role. So my reverse proxy is “roundabout” because it directs traffic internally
Gravity falls characters: Mabel, Dipper, Soos, Wendy, etc…
I believe the google framework is installed with less privilege than a system application
