I think there’s a difference in average maturity between US teenagers and European teenagers. I moved to the states when I was 20 and was shocked about how childish some of my new peers seemed. And I remember also being completely surprised I couldn’t even lift my dad’s case of beer into his trunk (he’s a wheelchair user). The cashier flipped out when I picked it up.

I’ve been vegetarian for 20+ years and have recieved nothing but love and support from vegans. Even one person I knew that was so committed she changed her last name to Govegan. I did recieved some chastisement from a plant based person for not knowing the difference between plant based and vegan, but they were also very anti-vegan.

I’m scared to try Lettuce, I’m in South florida and just imagine it wilting. But Kale and chard do fantastic here. I planted a couple of moronga trees too for their leaves and don’t regret it.

Our little one is distinctly humanoid! She loved the zoo, the bear enclosure where you could get within a foot of two giant sleeping grizzly bears was her favourite. She also liked where the fish were because they were her level and followed her finger.
