Food prices have been high for a while and it’s probably tough for donations. We are looking at a 30% higher cost of groceries compared to 5 years ago with some items up to 50%. I think the main reason for the cost is corporate greed. If you have an Aldi nearby it’s probably the best place to shop on a budget.

I only go to the mall for Dicks sporting goods or Apple which both have their own entrances. Have not walked inside the mall or any other stores in years.

Yeah Domino’s has their own thing where you get a decent price if you get two or more similar items for pickup. We typically do 2 medium 2 topping and wings or bread bites for around $20. They have the same deal online or in app but I think the app gives you bonus points or something.

These were 2 for $1 a few years ago. The only way to do McD for cheap now is to order in the app, they always have coupons and bogo deals. I was against these apps for privacy reasons for a long time but the upside is not having to hand your card to a random McD worker and worry about it getting skimmed. Also if you drive thru you just tell them your name or order number and that’s it.

The case may be closed but you could open it and disconnect the battery. That model is a pain to replace the battery but easy to open and disconnect. Not sure if this would cause any issues if plugged in or if the machine would boot.

I would tell a manager or HR about your problems but not tell them you plan to leave unless you are ready to get fired or hours cut.

Same, we got several small batches of XPS13 over a period of several years and just about all had problems. We had issues with batteries, drivers, random hardware failures, or total failure. We switched ThinkPad X1 Yoga and Surface Laptops 13 and have far fewer issues now.

There are various ebay sellers who carry certified refurbished laptops with warranty included. You can also buy some directly from Lenovo.

Have you tried a different usb port? Sometimes certain peripherals work better in USB 2 ports vs 3. Also sometimes you can go into bios and set certain ports to always on.

Two veggies and some type of sauce is a salad. A proper salad has a variety of veggies, meat, cheese, crunchy bits and sauce.
