A UN report this week said that nearly 70% of the people killed in the war in Gaza have been women and children.
That’s 70% out of 8000 deaths verified by the UN, not the full 40,000 that that the Gazan ministry of health claim have been killed.
The Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) published the report on Friday, having verified 8,119 of the more than 34,500 people reportedly killed during the first six months of Israel’s war in Gaza…
That’s less than 25% of all reported deaths. The numbers can fluctuate dramatically, depending on if they didn’t verify dead terrorists for one reason or another.

That’s 70% of confirmed deaths. So essentially this number is meaningless, as we don’t know the whole picture.

Schoolyard bully? Fighting back? Remind me who started firing rockets across the Israel-Lebanon border last October. Because it sure as shit wasn’t the IDF.
Israel didn’t start the current conflict with Hezbollah and, apart from preemptively destroying their rockets and drones and taking out terrorists along the southern border, didn’t ‘escalate the conflict’. The beeper incedent most likely disabled quite a few of them.
And another thing, do you really think a family living right under a big ass rocket don’t know it’s there?
