LILO it works so well
LILO it works so well
The fact they still exist is ridiculous
Basic commands, there isn’t really much difference at all
OpenRC seems quite straightforward
I’d imagine it would work fine. You can always try Mint out from the LiveUSB and see if any issues occur.
The installer’s defaults should be enough to get it done without any hassle.
It was before I had a CD writer (or DVD drive!), and it came with Linux Format magazine. I think it was the easiest and most user friendly way of getting started at the time.
Mandrake > Ubuntu > Debian > Mint > Arch > Artix
Settled on Artix for openrc and all the aur goodness
You’d hope the container would do the trick
Not sure if the PineTab would be a good choice
More of a gmpc kinda person. Unless there’s a better GUI for mpd out there?
There’s always mpdas for scrobbling
Take a byte and find out
Back in the day I think it was either Rhythmbox or gtkpod that synced my scrobbles each time I connected my iPod to my PC. Not sure if any other device is “smart” enough to do that.
If there’s something that can scrobble, I’d gladly switch to a MP3 player.
At least Reaper has Linux ports, better than nothing.
