Oh? Is Hamas a legitimate state authority now? Doesn’t that make the IDF actions a war crime then? I thought they were TERRORISTS which means that this is an enforcement response, not an invasion. You don’t get it both ways. Either Hamas are the state of Palestine or they aren’t, and they can’t make anything a “legitimate target”.

Weird argument given that the presence of civilians isn’t slowing down the IDF at all. In fact they seem to have a ton of practice at killing civilians in Palestine. Not very good shields are they?

Where are civilians in Palestine supposed to go? You seem to think that its OK to slaughter them like pigs for going to a hospital. Where should the IDF NOT be allowed to butcher Palestinian children? Seriously, tell me one place that if an IDF bomb blows a bunch of people apart its a bad thing. Is there ONE SQUARE INCH of Gaza in which the IDF is not allowed to shoot a civilian in the face?

Sure, but the difference is that that the IDF is actively murdering with weapons that we are giving them.

It is fascinating to me that no one is asking what outcome Hamas was looking for after these attacks. Is no one concerned that Israel is doing EXACTLY what Hamas must have expected them to do? They almost certainly had a plan and doing exactly what the other side expects means your going along with that plan. Hamas had to have known this is what would happen, so this happening is giving them what they wanted: An Israel that is rapidly losing its international mandate while committing atrocities against civilians on center stage in front of the whole world.

Lets just pretend for a moment that Israel has NOT spent the last 50 years murdering random Arabs all over their country. Lets say that tomorrow members of the IDF just lines up a bunch of Palestinian kids against a wall and shot them. Would that be wrong?

Almost has to be the case. There is a reason no one farms cats as meat, they are obligate carnivores that will eat more meat than they ever produce. It isn’t economical to produce cats for meat if you have to actually feed them. It only makes sense to “harvest” them wild on the streets or from kitten mills, shelters, vets, wherever you find spare cats in China.

Framing animals for meat only really makes sense if those animals eat lower on the food chain. Turning grass / grains into meat makes sense. Turning meat into meat doesn’t, especially since the cats would pretty much have to be eating more desirable meat that they produce. Imagine feeding pork, fish, and chicken to cats in order to make cat meat.
