Lots of controllers have gyroscopes these days. The ones I’ve personally used are switch, ds4 and steam deck, but I assume it’s a pretty regular feature on newer controllers these days too.

I’m not even American but this is way less intuitive for everyday use. I don’t need some abstract measure of how efficient my car is being. My fuel tank is measured in liters, when I fill up i pay by the liter, I want to know how far I can go on x liters. Not have to do a bunch of mental math to reverse the equation for my gas tank with 40 liters in it. I have 40l, I can go x*40 km. Mental multiplication is way easier than mental division.

But how? That’s assuming you fall asleep instantly, in which case you could just set an alarm. My issue is that i set the alarm but then can’t get my mind to quiet, and if anything the pressure of knowing that I had a ticking clock would make it worse. I already do that with rhe alarm.

How is a timer different from an alarm? Except more pressure to fall asleep immediately? Also just set your alarm for 7.5 hours ahead though?
