What’s the source of the regret? I just turned 30, and am still undecided.

Huh, I kinda feel the opposite. You need (or at least SHOULD) be very attentive to a pup. Dogs, in general, tend to crave/require more attention. Cats are more hands-off, so they often attract the kinda people who want a pet for the sake of having a pet - which tend to be narcissistic types.*
*not true of all cat people
Can’t tell if this comment is fucking hilarious or fucking disturbing…
Outer Wilds.
If you like space games and puzzle games (in the sense that you need to piece together the situation you’re in), this is a great choice.
Highly recommend not looking anything up before you play.
It was in my house growing up quite a few times. Granted, my mom is Mexican but my dad was white/American. They both loved that shit.
I completely agree, but I’ve never been able to articulate it this well. Do you have any scary movie recommendations? I’ve got a feeling we have similar taste.
What the hell is that image up top
We had a little basket thingy with books and magazines. Stuff like Calvin & Hobbes, I Spy books, Popular Science magazines, etc.
I agree that the idea of it is terrifying. I just feel like they executed it poorly in the movie. They somehow made it a little hokey.
Talk To Me. I would also say Sinister and The Conjuring are my favorites, and I also struggle to find scary movies that genuinely scare me. Watch this alone in the dark the first time. It is now my all-time favorite scary movie, and it’s fairly recent.
I think the point of these movies are to inform the public of the brutality of war, and how shitty our government can be. It’s purpose is to shine a light on it, which I do think is pretty useful. Otherwise, most of us may not have known about it, and would have a very different/heavily filtered view of our government.
This is the kinda selfless attitude the world needs.
When I was first starting as a server at this one restaurant, I swear every other phrase out of my coworkers’ mouths when they saw me during the entire first 2 weeks was, “you having fun yet?”. And everytime, I’d give a half-assed smirk and say “oh you know it”. So dumb. That phrase still irritates the shit out of me to this day.
I picked up bouldering, and I highly recommend it! Its a great way to have fun while doing something active, and is fun solo, with a couple of people, or a larger group.
Whoa whoa, the gift is getting free gravel for life. Wanting to summon it is just getting greedy
Nah, I’ve certainly had a few reflective moments where I realized my missed opportunities. The reality is, unless you’re really confident and self-possessed, it’s hard to put yourself out there. So I can understand why these guys didn’t just spell it out for me, cause they likely weren’t sure I was into them. And on my end, I always struggled with low self-esteem, so I just assumed that these attractive guys weren’t actually into me and were just being nice/good friends.
Anyways, I’m glad your girlfriend is an exception to the rule.
My condolences on losing your sibling. Wonderful of you to take her in.
