Ok but I was curious another specific physiological reasons lol like maybe men require that much more or they don’t see cardiovascular benefits or something like that.

Here’s my muffin recipe, but you can really omit the applesauce and use pretty much any fruit you like for flavor. Do keep the bananas though or the texture will be really wrong. It’s good with a tbsp of chia seeds added, oats added, etc. I make my own yogurt and when I make cheese out of it I replace all the liquids (except oil) with the leftover whey and they come out gloriously soft and fluffy that way. Whole Wheat flour is really high calorie though so I’m open to suggestions for something to replace it with if anyone has any ideas.
Long story short I’ve messed with this recipe in so many ways and it has turned out great every time except the time I didn’t have bananas and uses avocado instead. It’s very forgiving so do it your way.
Muffin recipe
2 ripe mashed bananas
1 chopped apple
Flax egg (1 tbsp ground flax, 2.5 tbsp water, mix and let set while you prepare the other ingredients)
1 tbsp olive or avocado oil
1/4 to 1/2 C oat or soy milk or cow milk or whey
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1 C whole wheat flour
1 C wheat bran
1tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
1 tbsp chia seeds
You can sub oat bran for wheat bran if you can find anyone selling it.
Why so much higher for men? On an average day I eat probably somewhere between 25 and 45 g depending on what I’ve meal preppes D for the week and what I’ve decided on for snacks. I am a vegetarian who eats mostly whole foods. I can’t even fathom how the average American could come anywhere even close to that. It’s a LOT of beans/whole grains/vegetables/chia seeds/etc.
The Bell riots are due in a couple months. Maybe this is the real catalyst.
It isn’t any of their business unless you want it to be so just be vague as hell. “I got another offer that is a good opportunity.” “I’ve decided to pursue other opportunities.” They’ll obviously ask questions and you can just remain vague. “I would rather not discuss specific details of my new job.”
Or if you don’t mind them speculating behind your back you can say as something like “I’ve decided to move on for personal reasons.” Just leave it at that and let them sit there and wonder. Is a family member sick and needs care? Are you sick? Did you get a different job? Do you hate everyone? Are you going to prison? Who knows because you aren’t telling them.
I can’t see anything more than 2 feet in front of my face :(
Cool, cool. Are we still supplying weapons to Israel? Give the weapons to Ukraine and tell Israel that’s enough genocide for now.
Yikes that sounds awful.
That could be long COVID but it could also unfortunately be the after effects of heavy drinking. Did your brain issues start after you had COVID?
I had someone open a Verizon account with my info and I only found out when it showed up on my credit report as a collections account. Every single person there tried to tell me the account didn’t exist and there was nothing they could do. I even had one fuckin rep try to get me up open a new account so they could use it to look up the other account, because apparently sounded like a complete moron. I ended up reporting it to the secretary of state and wouldn’t you know Verizon found the account for them on the first try.
Guaranteed all that data is still being sold and resold over and over again. Who even knows how many people have everyone’s info at this point and they didn’t even get a slap on the wrist, nor has anything been done to unlink our financial security from our SSN. It’s disgusting.
The average woman is born with about 2 million eggs but the average American woman only has 1.66 children. The average American woman should be charged with 1,999,999,998.44 counts of murder. CMV.
Edit: I stand by the number I typed.
Thank you so much. It was a scary time because I felt like my brain was never going to work again.
Anecdotally speaking I had covid a few months before vaccination became available (yay) and had horrible brain fog. I forgot a lot of words and really struggled with finishing sentences, things like that. It did improve but it took about a year. At the same time one of my toes kept swelling up every time my feet got cold and that stopped around the same time my ability to think improved.
Holy shit I had a mild case of COVID with headaches as my only symptom. I then had long COVID and couldn’t think straight, forgot words all the time, had trouble finishing sentences. It’s terrifying to think this is why that was happening but it tracks because every time my feet got cold during that same time period one of my toes swelled up. Probably the same thing happening in my foot and my brain.
I’m not going to say you’re wrong about aspartame being safe because I don’t know for sufe, but I question whether you’re right. The fact that Donald Rumsfeld was the CEO of the company that held the patent, couldn’t get it approved then magically got it approved after his buddy Ronald Reagan appointed him to a position where he could do so makes me wonder if it ever should have been approved.
They have one beach! Let them have 2.
Don’t forget the squirrel, and your comment was really light on the lard. Add lard 7 more times. Or was that just our hand me down handwritten cookbook?
I was wondering the same thing. Maybe it’s perspective or the picture was taken with a weird lens but I’m pretty sure the cabinets are practically touching the counter.
Say no more (mostly because I don’t want any more details about those shits).
