More pointing out that there is a correlation with our modern diet and the rise of colon and rectal cancers in young people. UPFs are most likely not the sole issue but a contributor along with other things that are now in our food that weren’t in the past.
My friend was just one of those that developed such a cancer and died from it young.
Cancer is a big risk
Had a friend of mine die on Thanksgiving last year in his early 30s from it. He was never obese in his life.
It appears to be some sort of bromeliad. Many bromeliad species don’t really have roots, but instead grow on top of rocks or other plants like trees. They get their water and nutrients from the atmosphere directly rather than from their roots. Some species even have leaf shapes that make like a bucket in the center to capture water to use. Anyways, they’re cool plants. And some have absolutely beautiful flowers.
I tell people all the time that the bugs are all gone. It is terrifying! Younger generations will never experience those swarms. It is so sad.
Yes, true. But at least I don’t have to slather chemicals onto my skin to avoid the nuclear hellfire in the sky giving me cancer. I know cold ain’t exactly like happy fun times. But I prefer it over heat absolutely.
