Glad to see it’s ok to flush non-aquatic gravels.
Just write a script that runs periodically to check the log’s size and delete when its near the crash threahold.
This is genius but too high effort. You may sit on this council, but we do not grant you the rank of shitost.
Red Bilk is the best.
Human beings are subject to the laws of physics. If you eat more calories than you consume and do not otherwise eliminate from the body, they will still be in the body. The body stores them as fat. This is simply the mechanics of biology. If it weren’t, things like Ozempic would not spur massive weight loss.
We have more obese people now than have ever existed. Countries that do not have US/Mexico levels of easy access to heavily processed, calorie-dense foods do not have obesity problems like we have. Clearly, calling people names and making them feel bad is not a good way to get them to adopt healthier habits. However, there are plain, uncomplicated things that people can do to lose weight that will work, but they will ONLY work if the people want to change, are honest with themselves and truly stick to the changes they need to make.
Losing weight is absolutely within reach of 99% of obese people, but comments like this reinforce the absolutely incorrect notion that getting healthy is some big mystery that’s for a different class of people to solve. It’s defeatist and makes it seem like a problem that a person can’t solve on their own, which is straight up wrong.
The plain, uncomplicated things you can do? Find out how many calories a body of the weight you want to weigh uses in a day. Limit yourself to those calories. Given time, you will be that weight if and only if you stick to the plan. It may shock some people how many calories they actually consume in a day, especially if they drink soda or juice with any regularity.

The funny thing is that Biden’s had gaffes like this his whole career and could have laughed it off under other circumstances, but with the eyes of the entire world on him watching for him to have another senior moment this is another nail in the coffin.
The kernel is too old for newer AMD gpu drivers to work, but switching to a newer kernel isn’t too hard. I had to when I built a new computer last winter, but I have also used various *nixes for a good long time.
Knowing how to discover you need a newer kernel is a bit tough for recent convert, though.
Note to anyone heeding this advice: it has to be a metal water pipe, no plastic.
With a mirror, you do not have to refocus your eyes to a close distance and then refocus back to a farther one. The time it takes to do this is palpable and adds to the time you’re not as aware of your surroundings as you could be. At 70mph, it’s a lot of distance you’re flying blind.
Hard disagree. Modern dash displays give tons of useful information that would be very hard to display legibly with dials. The flexibility they offer is good too, often having more than one dash layout. Nav screens are also extremely useful. Going anywhere and never getting lost? Get outta here.
And rear camera? Don’t get me started on how a little dirt destroys your rear view until you pull over to clean it or how they represent a more difficult scenario for your eyes, increasing the amount of time you don’t have your eyes on the road every time you check it. Unless you mean a back up camera and not a replacement for a rear view mirror, in which case yes those are super awesome.
Robots can be from other planets.
Everyone knows the Bulls logo is an upside-down alien giving it to a crab.
Spanish, too. Translating things that you lay out, like flyers or handouts, from English to Spanish is a massive pain because you need to rearrange for all the additional text.
I’ve got a BeeLink N100 system that’s just a bit bigger than a NUC, has two 2.5Gb LAN ports and came with a 512gb nvme drive. Works a treat as a Jellyfin server with TONS of processor and ram headroom. N100 is a great little chip, so long as you’re not expecting i5+ power.
No, I drive a Volt when I drive my Volt that I own. It is not quite the rocket-powered go-kart that tue Bolt is, but it’s still quicker off the line than your average can and a lot of fun to drive. Chevy’s hybrids and EVs are totally decent cars that cost very little to operate.
I drive a Chevy Bolt for work and RAM drivers routinely roll coal on me.
My friend I’m talking about officers that are 6’ 270lbs and it ain’t muscle. These cops are obese.
Fantastic choices. Outer Wilds for me.
