Also, they have to move off the road if space permits to let piled up traffic overtake, at least in Austria.

30 mph is almost 50 km/h. In most of Europe the default maximum speed limit inside of populated areas is 50 km/h.
Default meaning artillery roads like this one can and almost always do have higher limits than 50, but the defsult maximum suddenly becoming the minimum makes no sense.
A road that isn’t physically barricaded from foot trafic akin to a highway has no reason to have a minimum speed limit over 15 mph (30 km/h), if at all.
Well, they are half-eaten on the back, so checks out.
The horse knows and it doesnt care
Which clearly gives them a carte blanche to genocide and apartheid
Both have to be more than a pebble, right?
Doesn’t Windows give a popup saying “Do you want to extract the folder before running the executable” anymore?
Edit: typo (funning to running)

If an employer can’t ‘afford’ to pay you properly he shouldn’t run a business.
Yeah. ‘Decay’ has a natural whiff to it, while ‘enshittification’ reeks of it being actively made that way.
Thanks, never heard of it & will switch to it myself!
Just as short and not as inappropriate.
Honest question: What are the alternstives?
I agree that enshittification is a, well, shitty term, but I know obly it to describe the problem at hand.
Alternstives I think of are walled gardens, collapse of the internet as we know it, lockdown of social media sites, etc. - none of them all that simple and miss the point enshittification has.
Complaining in and of itself isn’t bad. Hell, a bug report is a complaint and it’s very much useful. As are feature requests. Whining definitely isn’t good, but complaints can and often are useful, warranted and lead to a positive outcome
Not only are they insanely long, MS strategically doesn’t follow its own specs in places so other software using the specs “fuck up formatting” even if they follow MS’s specs perfectly.
Yeah I get it, but still. Britain got its priviliges in the EU by being a part of it for a long time. If it becomes a problem in some 20 years, Britain probably won’t be alone, will have been a member for a longish time and will most definitely be better off than outside the EU. And if it comes to it, they’ll be able to leave again.
At least they’ll have the most experience in leaving which might make the second time at least a bit more painless.
That isn’t really an issue, either Denmark or Czechia don’t want the Euro but said they’ll get it so they skirm around the ascention criteria a bit. Can’t see why the UK couldn’t do the same.
Sure, they might’ve cornered the market fair and square, but they’re certainly doing anticompetitive things in keeping it cornered.
Just try setting up a mail server not connected to any of the big corpos (Google, MS, Cloudflare or their clients with more niche marketing) and see who will actually recieve your mails. You most likely won’t land into the Spam folder either.
