Italians have great raw ingredients, if only somebody would teach them how to use them.

This reads like such astroturfing advertisement. Also it’s just fucking sad if you really think domino’s is the height of pizza.

I enjoy seeing how many people had an opinion and lacked the words to express it. Cowards, I’ll suck you all off at the same time. Momma didn’t raise no coward and those massive American pizzas trained me for oral stretching.

Deep Dish erasure. It’s like our only original pizza contribution.

The perfidious Swede is known for curried bananas on their pizza. It could be worse.

Well, no. That would be tomatoes. Italians (and the world) have the indigenous peoples of the Americas to thank for that.

GOOD COMMENT, I’m stealing that for that when I repost this on genocide day to trigger people from New Jersey.

Pizza as a dish is an American dish at its core. Land and credit for Pizza back.

Deep dish is still better than anything Italy ever made, look at the amount of tomato in there. The defining ingredient.

What holiday do Americans celebrate that might have something to do with making Italian-Americans upset?

I’ll give you a hint, he said this in a letter: “They do not bear arms, and do not know them. They have no iron. Their spears are made of cane. They would make fine slaves. With fifty men we could subjugate them all and make them do whatever we want.”

      culinary secrets

A crybaby yelling at people and offering galaxy brain advice like “limit the size of your menu, it keeps consistency up” and “clean daily”?

      dental technology

You’ve seen those haggard chompers, it’s a miracle they don’t fall out or bite themselves comically whilst speaking. Imagine what people who gave a shit could do with that dental necromancy

Okay, I’m going to be that guy because I don’t see it being pointed out already.

That’s not actual Italian pizza, it’s still an Americanized version.

Real Italian pizza is so thin you have to eat it with a fork and knife and it’s meant for one person, not to share. The one in the picture is still way too thick to be real Italian.

But real Italian pizza in Italy really is on another level. It’s so god damned good, it makes all pizza in America look like cardboard with sauce.

“Real italian pizza is so thin” Yeah that’s just not true, there are many different types of Italian pizza, the most standard of which is like the one pictured. The form varies in popularity by region.

Exactly, plus it’s usually cheap as hell too, along with being mind blowing-ly good.

Not everyone gets the chance to go to Italy though, so just enjoy the pizza and op should stop gate keeping a delicious food.

i’ve had real italian pizza, in italy. it was fucking delicious, but it doesn’t make the best pies i’ve had in places like new york or chicago taste like cardboard with sauce. some places in nyc can absolutely go toe-to-toe with italy.

Yeah I don’t think so. They have different kinds of pizza in Italy. When I visited, I ate both kinds (as pictured and as you described). However, no sign of anything resembling Dominoes or frozen pizzas from the US. They were both delicious, but I prefer the slightly thicker and doughy crust seen in OP’s picture.
