There are good and bad things going on in the world and while it isnt all bad news, this doesnt strike me as being anything other than another form of bias. There are serious problems with this planet and pretending there arent doesnt make them go away.

It’s certainly a nice idea for a community, but there’s already content in there that can be used to spread/reinforce climate change denial.

For example, this chart showing the decline of air pollution deaths: https://reddthat.com/post/16771065. That’s exactly the kind of thing that right wingers point to and scream “See? Fewer people are dying, the planet is fine!” Again, the intent is admirable, but this kind of content is ripe for repackaging as anti-climate propaganda. It’s going to do more harm than good if you collect that kind of messaging all in one place like this.

I tried opening this post in a web browser, & it tried downloading a binary onto my system??

When I tried reloading the page, instead of blank-page with some kind of underhanded downloading, it showed the post…

Not cool, but I’ve no idea who, or what, caused whatever it is that hit my browser, when I tried getting it to open this post.
