I’m unsure where you think NATO troops are currently active. The US has 11 carrier battle groups, only one of them is in the Red Sea, etc.

Half a million is only combat ready troops, NATO has 3.5 million military and personnel total.

What secret sauce? Numbers. NATO has a half million troops. Thelargest air and Navy. Russia don’t want none of that.

Cause for action. NATO countries surround Ukraine and will get radiation from a melt down. Thier presence gives Russia a political problem. Controlling a nuclear disaster and creating a safe zone is justifcation.

Everybody knew an attack was in the offing at t he end of Ramadan. They knew it was hours away, but not because Iran said anything. It was because our satellites saw them getting launchers ready. Our satellites also saw the launches, and could determine number and type.

Good to also add Saudi Arabia who also participated. This must have irked Iran.

Oh, they have their own nuke resources according to the International Atomic Energy Agency. Same guys that said Iraq had nothing.

By suggesting that this attack was real, but was thwarted by a collective defense, means that there is no need for the Israelis to retaliate because they already “took the win” as Biden supposedly told Netanyahu. In other words, be satisfied with how you handled led this with our help but don’t get cocky and try it again anytime soon.

Though I’m trying not to respond to you, it’s a good question. I don’t think anybody, including me, can explain how global oil markets really work. Those that can are making money right now and aren’t here. I’ve done a little spot market trading, and it is very reactive. Traders overprepare for events and always in worse case scenarios. I believe they overprepared for middle east war, and Iran’s attack was such a failure that they all reversed at the same time.
