Season 4 is actually regarded to be one of the better seasons of the show, the beginning of season 3 was awful though. Also they do flashbacks throughout the whole show
By any chance, did you watch it when it first came out? Lost was made to be binge watched in an era of television before that was commonplace. It holds up much better if you can watch an episode every few days, instead of once a week.

If your first thought is “what a fat lazy fuck” without knowing their story? That seems unnecessarily judgmental, and I can’t help but wonder if it comes from a place of insecurity, maybe left over from your own history with weight

Human beings are sentimental creatures. Faith often conflicts with logic. As a person who doesn’t believe in any sky daddy, I find it kind of inspiring that someone who’s smart enough in math and science could still believe in their religion.
